Happy New Year to all!

So, 20005 has come and gone- and what do we have to show for it?

In April, Brian and I finally got married. Highlight of the year in my book. In the summer, we went to SDCC and had an awesome time. Great vacation.
A month ago, Brian transferred to the new South Coast casino, and got a promotion to boot. He's one of 2 swing-shift supervisors, and so far, all's well with that. A week and a half ago, I found out I got Team Member of the month at The Venetian. (There's about 10 from the property of 5,000 employees each month..I've been there for 6 years, so this was a good thing to finally get!) Not sure what all I get for this award, but people tell me cash is involved, along with a leather jacket, a nice parking space for a month, and a black-tie luncheon on Jan 31st I get to attend.
My schedule is changing in a week, too. Still working 2-10pm, but my days off will be Tuesday and Wednesday- same as Brian's. LA trips will now be done on those days.

Unhappy things that took place in 2005? Not a whole lot, actually. No deaths, no firings, no horrible tragedies that affected us directly. I am very thankful for that.

Here's to praying that 2006 will be more of the same, and even better! I wish all of my friends wealth, prosperity, and health most of all..Cause without health, it's doubtful the other 2 can happen!

And, a BIG BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY goes out to my best Fricka in the world, Heidi! She turns the big 35 today, and we've allready gotten together once this afternoon with Nilly-Nils and went to the Ghettos Mall and took those cheapy-but fun gansta pictures from the predominatly Philippino type of quick Mall photo-place you go with your friends. The pics turned out GREAT actually, and maybe one of us will scan 'em in and show the world just how fabu we all looked!
